1、 Dyeing water
Because cationic dyes are used in strong acidic groups, acrylic fibers are easily affected by metal ions such as calcium ions in water. Moreover, some cationic dyes are also susceptible to metal ions. If the water quality is not suitable for dyeing, corresponding treatment must be carried out first to reduce the adverse effect of water on dyeing.
2、 Refining
Carry out simple scouring as required to remove spinning oil on acrylic fiber, size above the previous process and various pollutions, so as to make the following processes such as dyeing and finishing go smoothly.
3、 Bleaching and whitening
The fiber whiteness of acrylic yarn is already quite high. If higher whiteness is required, fluorescent whitening treatment or chemical bleaching should be combined.
The use of fluorescent whitening agents for whitening treatment is simple and widely used. Fluorescent whitening agents include cationic fluorescent whitening agents and dispersive fluorescent whitening agents. According to the dyeing method of cationic dyes or disperse dyes, they are respectively whitened. Because the levelness of disperse fluorescent whitening agent is better, disperse fluorescent whitening agent is often used. There are also many manufacturers of fluorescent whitening agent for acrylic yarn, which can be selected by users.
